Product Description:

The majestic stag can be found in Irish and Celtic mythology, representing fertility, rejuvenation, the Otherworld, and the ability to cross between worlds.

This art piece was drawn on paper, then traced onto an unfinished 11.5” diameter plate, and then painstakingly wood-burned. 

The drawing consists of a stylized Celtic stag (deer) in the center, framed by (4) arced Celtic border knots, each separated by a triple spiral symbol within a disk shape at the cardinal points. 

Once the artwork was finished, two coats of a low-VOC varnish were applied to the plate to preserve the piece.
