This handcrafted, whimsical wooden fairy house is a celebration of our country’s 250th birthday! Painted in red and blue jewel tones with white walls, this woodland cottage is perfectly patriotic! The jewel tones also make it an enchanting addition to a fairy-inspired vignette.

The basic construction is hand-painted basswood walls and roof set on a wood base and sealed with a low-VOC varnish. Fishscale shingles were applied to the roof and portico. A scalloped roof trim was attached to the roof edges, and the windows are framed with small stones.

Additional decorative elements include a metal planter with greenery, bushes, a gravel path, and ivy attached to the roof.

An opening in the back allows space to place LED candles or fairy lights to illuminate the interior of this handcrafted miniature fairy cottage. 

Use with faux florals and other fairycore decor to create whimsical mantle displays and indoor fairy-themed vignettes. (This product is not recommended for outdoor use, as it is not weatherproof.)
