Celtic-inspired knotwork swans woodburned plaque
Product Description:
This original Celtic knot artwork was influenced by Irish and Celtic mythology. Swans have powerful symbolism, said to represent the constellation Cygnus, and are associated with the mystical Tuatha de Danann people of Irish myth.
This personally designed knotwork design featuring stylized twin swans was hand-drawn and traced onto an unfinished 15.5” x 11.5” pine plank, then painstakingly wood-burned.
The drawing consists of mirrored swans with intricate knotwork framed by Celtic knots and vines in the four corners. A symbolic infinity knot sits inside a heart-shaped space formed by the mirrored effect, joining these two soul mates.
Low VOC varnish was applied to the plank to preserve and protect the artwork.
A triangle D hanger is attached to the back for easy hanging.
Felt pads on the back protect the plaque and your wall.
